Beagle Chihuahua Mix
A Beagle Chihuahua mix (Cheagle) is the
pairing together of two of America’s favorite dog breeds.
Whenever you cross two dogs together, their genes randomly
recombine so you do not now for certain what type of dog you
will get, and not all dogs in the litter will be the same.
Both the Chihuahua and the Beagle like to bark, so one would
imagine that this mix produces a very vocal dog. Although how
vocal a dog is depends a lot on the personality of the dog.
While Beagles tend to be more laid back and harder to train,
Chihuahuas tend to be very assertive and quick learners.
The weight of the Beagle Chihuahua mix can vary from a
small size around 10 pounds to larger dogs weighing
about 15 to 20 pounds, again, it is hard to predict
the adult weight of this dog.
Since both dogs shed, a mix of these two dogs also shed.
This mix is short haired and the colors can vary from looking
like a blue ticked Beagle to a tan Chihuahua.
The Cheagle is a very loyal dog, likely due to the fact that
the Chihuahua is very protective of its owner and the beagle
loves to take commands from him.
Few people breed the beagle Chihuahua mix, you will often
find them in shelters or rescues, a result of a random breeding
of stray dogs.
